2024 CBUS Soul® Fest Artist Lineup Announced
COLUMBUS – Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, in collaboration with Experience Columbus, is pleased to announce its lineup of artists for this year’s CBUS Soul® Fest. CBUS Soul® Fest celebrates Columbus’ vibrant Black culture while featuring live music, great food and lots of soul.
The one-day free music festival, now in its third year, will take place on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, from 4-11 p.m. at Genoa Park, located at 303 W. Broad St.
“Black culture has a rich history in Columbus that extends into the arts and is prominent throughout the City,” said Bernita A. Reese, M.S., CPRP, director of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department. “CBUS Soul® Fest celebrates Columbus’ Black community, which has been so important to helping shape our City.”
“We are thrilled to partner with Columbus Recreation and Parks Department for a third year and bring CBUS Soul® Fest to Downtown Columbus as part of the city’s robust summer festival lineup,” said Sarah Townes, chief marketing and innovation officer at Experience Columbus. “CBUS Soul® is a collaborative initiative that launched in 2022 to amplify the rich, historic, innovative, and forward-moving Black culture that helps to fuel the vibrancy of Columbus and it’s been wonderful to watch this festival, which is a key component of the initiative, grow year after year.”
This year’s CBUS Soul® Fest features headliners Kindred The Family Soul and Tony! Toni! Toné! Featuring Dwayne Wiggins. The full concert schedule can be seen below:
- 4 p.m.: J Rawls at the Plaza Stage
- 5 p.m.: The Liquid Crystal Project at the Plaza Stage
- 6:30 p.m.: Kindred The Family Soul at the Main Stage
- 8 p.m.: Brianna O’Dell at the Plaza Stage
- 9 p.m.: Tony! Toni! Toné! Featuring Dwayne Wiggins at the Main Stage
